However, I was really into origami at one time, making amazing things from paper only: no glue, tape or staples. My son caught on and made strings covered with origami doves and hung them all over his room, it was kind of a new-age hippie thing.

Here's a blog on doing origami with fabric and it's fascinating. Even if you don't do any of it, it's fun to see and actually, some of the fabric can be copied from the blog and used for backgrounds on your own blogs and websites. Fun!

5. Ever wondered what some song meant? I was stuck on Paul Simon's "Mother and Child Reunion" (such a....weird...song) and here's a site that lets you search out songs you just don't get.

By the way, "Mother and Child Reunion" is some kind of Chinese soup that Simon saw on a menu in a restaurant and the rest is history and I can quit wondering!

7. The whole site called "The Seduction Bible" is a good read, though I find it funny in parts and stupid in others, but here's a simple list of Seven Great First Date Questions. Now, I never had this kind of knowledge when I was dating, so how I got married, let alone have stayed that way for 21 years, is a mystery.

However, I would reserve the question "So. Have you ever been in love?" for late late in the conversation and after many drinks. That would've scared the hell out of me, especially if I didn't want you.

8. From right here on Blogspot, The Heron Clan is the blog of a polyamorous family: the mister, his wife and his slave. Definitely for those over the age of 18, try to withhold judgment as you read this. When I read it with an UNjaundiced eye, I was really fascinated. It's less the sex than the mindset of different people.

10. Some might find this boring, but My Trader's Journal is well-written, easy to follow and has a massive amount of information about stock options and trading. Once you start reading, you can really get caught up in the process and I guarantee you'll come away smarter about investing.

Note that some spreadsheet advice is also included and useful for much more than trading.
